STREET PHOTOGRAPHY

Light has fascinated me since the very beginning of my work and remains one of the defining elements of my photography. In architecture and interior photography, light does far more than illuminate – it reveals form, shapes space and creates atmosphere. Together with shadow, it becomes an essential tool for interpreting architecture.

My work is guided by a belief in the power of clearly defined light and shadow. Contrast is not simply a stylistic choice; it is one of the essential qualities of compelling architectural photography, emphasizing geometry, texture, depth and visual tension.

I strongly believe in the expressive power of color, but black and white offers a different way of seeing. Without the influence of color, greater emphasis is placed on light, shadow, and contrast. These elements shape the relationship between architecture and the human element. My black and white photographs explore those fleeting moments when light and shadow not only defines space, but provides a stage to the people who inhabit it.
